With the rapid recovery of the housing market in Vero Beach, several regional and national builders, are building and selling new homes in more than a dozen subdivisions. Many builders that had subdivisions platted and improved before the downturn halted new construction as sales lagged in 2007. It is these partially developed subdivisions that are seeing construction resuming in lots that sat vacant while waiting for sales and prices to increase to the point that building was again profitable.

Indian River County's Large Lot Community, only 5 miles to the Beach, 2 miles to the Indian River Mall and shopping, Estate Sized Lots with a minimum 30'in between Homes, Surrounded by Exclusive Upscale Communities. Sandridge public Golf Course is just to the north along with the Indian River County Fairgrounds.
Arcadia is a new subdivision just east of the existing community of The Willows both developed by Ryan Homes. The CBS homes are built on over sized lots to allow for a private pool.
