Vero Beach has several communities with very affordable condos right on a golf course. Vista Gardens, Vista Plantation and Vista Royale all feature 1 or 2 bedroom condos, that are either directly on the golf course or within walking distance. Prices range from $70,000 for a 1 bedroom to $150,000 for remodeled condos with a view. These communities are all 55+ and do not allow pets. Grand Harbor, Indian River Club and The Moorings offer a more upscale environment without the age or pet restrictions of the Vista Properties.
Golf Courses with single family homes on their grounds are typically private or semi-private and not open to non-residents. An initiation fee or equity share must be paid to join, but in most cases, membership is not required to purchase a home in the community. Homes range in price from the low $200,000's at Point West to Multi million dollar homes in Grand Harbor, Orchid Island and The Moorings.
